John H. Drucker, of counsel to Rosen & Associates, is a bankruptcy and corporate restructuring attorney, and a certified mediator. He has a national reputation in his representation of various parties in interest in sophisticated Chapter 11 proceedings and in non-judicial corporate reorganization and restructurings. John frequently represents domestic and international businesses and individuals in a wide range of matters involving formal bankruptcy, out-of-court restructuring and workouts of financially troubled companies and large net worth individuals. He has substantial experience and expertise in the representation of debtors, debtors- in- possession, creditors, creditors' committees, asset purchasers, landlords, secured creditors, shareholders, sureties, Chapter 11 trustees, liquidating trustees, plan administrators and governmental units and agencies.

John is often called upon as special bankruptcy counsel on behalf of class action plaintiffs, and has provided such representation in many of the most sophisticated bankruptcy matters in the country, including Drexel Burnham Lambert Group, Chrysler Corp., Adelphia Communications, Calpine, Lone Star Industries, The Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company, Tower Automotive, Advanta Corp, K.V. Pharmaceutical, M.F Global, Sun Edison and many more.

John is also a certified and experienced mediator, providing mediation services with respect to bankruptcy and non bankruptcy related disputes. He serves on the authorized panels of mediators maintained by the American Arbitration Association, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York and the U.S. Bankruptcy Courts for the Southern District of New York and the District of Delaware. Pursuant to an order of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York, John was appointed to the panel of mediators in the Borders bankruptcy case to mediate preference and other avoidance actions. He has also served as a party-appointed neutral arbitrator under the American Arbitration Association's rules for large complex commercial disputes. From 1986 until 2006, John was a member of Angel & Frankel, P.C., a nationally recognized corporate reorganization and bankruptcy boutique firm. From 2006 through 2017 John was a member of the firm Cole Schotz P.C. in its bankruptcy and corporate restructuring department.
